The Aqara E1 intelligent curtain motor (track version) simplifies your daily life by automating the opening and closing of your curtains according to your preferences, natural light or programmed scenarios. Designed for U- and I-rails, it installs easily without the need for tools or modifications to your existing installation.

Thanks to its built-in light sensor, it adjusts the opening of the curtains according to the amount of light outside, helping to optimise natural lighting and reduce energy costs. It also supports advanced automation scenarios, such as gradual opening when you wake up or automatic closing when you leave.

Its powerful motor supports curtains weighing up to 12 kg, offering a smooth movement speed of 12 cm/s. With its 6000 mAh battery, it guarantees autonomy for up to a year between recharges. It can also be powered continuously via USB-C for permanent use.

The Zigbee 3.0 protocol ensures a stable and fast connection, even during Internet outages, and enables integration with home automation platforms such as Apple HomeKit, Google Home, Amazon Alexa and IFTTT. A future OTA update will also guarantee Matter compatibility.

Information

• Matter support may be unavailable at launch and will be deployed as an OTA update to a compatible Aqara Zigbee 3.0 hub.
• An Aqara hub is required and sold separately.
• (NOTE: Other brands of hubs are not compatible) : Requires a 2.4 gigahertz secure Wi-Fi network connection for Hub M2/ M1S/ E1/M1S Gen2 and Camera Hub G2H Pro/ G2H, and 2.4/ 5 GHz Wi-Fi for Camera Hub G3. (Wired connection via RJ45 Ethernet for Hub M2 is also supported). Please ensure that the firmware for the Aqara Hub and the Aqara Home application have been updated to the latest version.

Automation :

The curtains will open automatically depending on the time of day, the weather, lighting conditions or other Aqara devices.

• In the morning, the curtains will open slowly just before you wake up to make your mornings more pleasant. When the sun is too bright, the curtains will partially close. Finally, the curtains will open just before sunset so you can enjoy the view. Everything can be configured in the Automation section of the Aqara Home application.

The curtains will close when you go to bed

• When you go to bed, an Aqara motion sensor placed above your bed will trigger the Curtain Driver E1 to close your curtains, so you can sleep more comfortably and enjoy a good night's sleep.

The bedroom curtains will close automatically when you take a shower

• An Aqara Temperature and Humidity Sensor will trigger the Curtain Driver E1 to close the bedroom curtains when the humidity level rises in the bathroom, and your privacy will be protected when you leave the bathroom.
