The Echo robot (so named because of the ultrasonic sensor used during construction and activities), was designed to primarily serve a single student, allowing him to quickly familiarize himself with construction and block programming thanks to the TETRIX PULSE controller, the DC motors and the ultrasonic sensor, all housed in a mobile robot.
Although this package is slightly different from the others in the TETRIX family, it offers many advantages such as fast construction, 7 activities and challenges for about 15 sessions of 45 minutes and an affordable price.
Make teaching and learning engineering, robot building and programming simple and attractive. Created to support distance and blended learning, you can now purchase, for a limited time, the Echo robot set. The kit uses a limited number of structural parts and connectors from the TETRIX® PRIME building system so that students can quickly follow the graphical construction steps in the downloadable guide to build the Echo robot. The PULSE™ controller and the included ultrasonic sensor allow students to immerse themselves in block programming using the TETRIX Ardublockly software.
The digital guide consists of four activities that include building robots and programming DC motors and an ultrasonic sensor, plus two interwoven challenges designed to allow students to practice what they have just learned. Finally, the guide encourages students to put their knowledge to the test by reconfiguring and reprogramming the Echo robot to meet the criteria and constraints of the task at hand. The activities and challenges cover 14 to 16 class periods of 45 minutes each.

Thanks to its compact design, the Echo robot offers an excellent alternative to a full TETRIX PRIME programmable package and can be used in a variety of remote, mixed and classroom implementations.
