The Feetech FS90R Mini 360 Servo is a very good quality multi-functional servo that works well with microcontroller systems such as BBC microbit, Arduino, Raspberry Pi and PICAXE. Its small size makes it ideal for radio-controlled models and small robot applications.
It is a servo with a continuous 360 degree rotation. Its operation is very different from that of an ordinary servo. This servo will be static at a 1.5ms pulse (a trimmer is provided to adjust this), a longer pulse gives forward rotation and a shorter pulse gives reverse rotation.

The position pulses from the standard RC servo are converted to continuous rotation speed by the FS90R continuous rotation servo. The default rest point is 1.5 ms, but this can be changed by turning the midpoint adjustment potentiometer with a small screwdriver. Pulse widths greater than the rest point cause counter-clockwise rotation, with speed increasing as the pulse width decreases; pulse widths less than the rest point cause clockwise rotation, with speed increasing as the pulse width decreases.
It includes mounting screws and a variety of horns to suit most situations. You can run these servos with any code, hardware or servo library, making them ideal for novices who want to move things without the need for a motor driver board. These servos are fully compatible with our Servo:Lite board, which is also included in the BBC microbit:MOVE small buggy kit.
