With their shields, the four Roman legionaries can perform the turtle formation. The year is 50 BC. For many months, the Roman legionaries garrisoned in the fortified camps of Aquarium, Babaorum, Laudanum and Petibonum have been trying to take over the village of the Gallic diehards, who have been resisting the invaders. To defeat the Gauls, the Romans attack with their famous turtle formation. In this special attack formation, the soldiers advance protected by shields in front and above.

But once again, Asterix, Obelix and the villagers have no intention of surrendering. A sip of magic potion and the battle is on... Life is not easy for the Roman legionaries who have to deal with these diehard Gauls. The box contains four Romans with helmets, swords and shields. A support plate is included for each figure for added stability. All figures have an alternating face that shows the faces before and after the battle.
