Cubetto is a friendly wooden robot that will teach your child the basics of computer programming through adventure and practical games. Inspired by the LOGO language, approved by Montessori. This Playset is your child's guide to the world of code, made of durable wood. With no screen, it's fun and enjoyable to learn while having fun.
A coding language that you can touch and manipulate like LEGO®. Each block is an action. Combine them to create programs.
The programming blocks are considered as the "intelligent" part. They have 7 colors, each corresponding to a different action.
You will find below the explanation of these blocks in pictures:
In the Cubetto Playset, the carpet is by default a world map with which you can create your scenario, your route, etc...
The control panel is the programming platform. It automatically connects with Cubetto.
When you press the blue button, the Cubetto educational robot runs your first program.
For example, you can make your Cubetto move from the sea to the house. To get there, you have to think about the direction, count the number of squares, etc...
The route can be more or less complex depending on your design. However, it requires the child to train his ability of spatial analysis and planning.
The Cubetto educational robot does not work like other remote-controlled toy robots that can execute in real time. With Cubetto, the idea of programming is to plan the movement by approaching the 'function' of coding: loops and conditions.
Cubetto thus offers a real beginning of formal logic exercise to the youngest children, in a childlike way.
