Nybble is the world's lightest and fastest robotic cat. Nybble, which is based on open source architecture, offers unlimited possibilities for "teaching" tricks, habits and CAT-itude by programming it and helping it evolve. You can also use a Raspberry Pi to help Nybble think! This Nybble V2 kit from Petoi includes the battery.
Nybble isn't just a walking robotic cat, it's a whole new breed of pet: an advanced robotic kitten that you can bring to life with a small computer, custom software, a simple set of parts and all the upgrades you can think of!
Nybble's movement is regulated by an Arduino-compliant microcontroller. It retains a "muscle memory" of how it moves. To aid Nybble's vision and decision-making, an optional AI chip, such as a Raspberry Pi, can be placed on top of Nybble's back. You can programme Nybble to move using your favourite language and short commands such as "walk" or "turn left"!
The Nybble frame is a simple puzzle to assemble without screws. Detailed assembly instructions are available. You can also put yourself to the test by trying to solve the puzzle yourself! Once you've assembled Nybble, you'll need some basic programming skills to import the code and set it to working order. You'll need to be able to learn new tricks and teach yourself!
