Withings Thermo

Thermo is a thermometer created by Withings that will allow its users going further in their capacity of temperature taking. Hygienic, easy to use, it will be useful for you and you beloved ones. Connected to your smartphone, it allows you centralizing the data so you can better watch the fever episodes of you and your family, it can also give you precious advices.

Thermo is a scientific device that allows taking the temperature of the frontal artery which is the best way to measure temperature variations. Thermo is equipped with the HotSpot Sensor technology and needs 16 sensors that can take more than 4000 different measures in 2 seconds so it can find the hottest spot of the frontal artery.

Thermo is hygienic because it doesn’t need to be in contact with the skin to take the temperature: you just need to put it about 1 cm far from the front: no need to clean it after a taking!

The temperature is displayed automatically on the device according to the age of the sick person and a LED will be read, orange or red according to the gravity of the fever. The temperature number can also be read in the dark not to disturb the person. You can also take your temperature yourself by putting it on your front, the thermometer will emits two vibrations to inform you that your temperature have been taken. 

All measures are synchronized via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth on the application Thermo that gives a firs interpretation according to the symptoms declared on the application. You will get tips to fight fever. By clicking on “Thermia” a feature developed by the Boston Chlidren’s Hospital, you can have tips on medication and the correct quantity to take to start the medication.

Thermo can register a journal of all of your fever episodes, add commentaries, the medication you took and even pictures to share with your doctor.

Thermo can identify and create profiles for until eight different users. Each temperature taking is associated to the correct user on a tactile screen on the device. You can take it with you anywhere with a protection cap to protect the sensors. Also, if you don’t have a Wi-Fi connection it can be synchronized via Bluetooth. 

The device is also checked for the medical standards of the American FDA (Food and Drug Administration) and answers to the highest medical standards of the world.
