The MeArm micro:bit blue version by Kitronik is an easy-to-build robotic arm kit designed to allow children (and adults!) to learn technology, engineering and programming. It has been specifically designed to be easy to build (11 years and older) and to use.
The micro:bit (sold separately), a low-cost computer that was developed to make computer learning accessible and fun, is at the heart of this project. It can be controlled directly using the embedded joysticks, or you can learn to code by moving it using one of the programming languages supported by the micro:bit.
The great advantage of being integrated into the micro:bit is the availability of coding editors to suit all levels of coding capacity. You can use MakeCode Blocks & Javascript editors, or MicroPython or MU editors to code Kitronik's MeArm. Many efforts have been made to facilitate the programming of your MeArm as soon as you have built it.
The MeArm microbit version was designed from the start to be easy to assemble. Children can build it themselves, just like adults. Everything you need to build it is included in the box.
Note: This kit does not include a micro:bit sold separately on Robot-Advance.
