K.I.T.T. is equipped with sound and light effects that can be activated by pressing on the bonnet. The vehicle quotes lines from the series in the original K.I.T.T. voice.

Specific quotes are associated with the on/off function, the others are played randomly. At the same time, with a press on the bonnet, the scanner icon on the front of the vehicle lights up and the dashboard light flashes.
