Features of the Micro:bit environment pack by Kitronik
The Lesson in a Box Environment is a comprehensive set of electronics and teaching tools that allows for multi-disciplinary courses with minimal effort on the part of the instructor.
The 21 classes include D&T, Computer Science and Biology/Science combined.
Technicians and students are not required to weld.
To save you time, the kit and teaching tools have been tested by real students and designed by real instructors.
We wanted the box to be inexpensive, useful and durable enough for instructors to use again and again.
The tools not only meet KS3/KS4 (US equivalent - 6-8/9-10) criteria, but also personal development by encouraging students to see conventional STEM activities as useful across the curriculum.
The topic packs include a full lesson plan with cross-references to: lesson slides, workbooks/worksheets, checklists etc., technician's notes and, where appropriate, AFL tips with answers and plenaries.
The kits are packed in a sturdy reusable tray from Gratnells to keep them together and safe between uses.
Simply add micro:bits to each kit and you're done!
