This Kitronik MI:pro protective case for the BBC micro:bit is designed to work with both the old micro:bit V1 and the new micro:bit V2, and follows in the footsteps of our previous cases. The cases are intended to keep the micro:bit secure and fully functional while offering the independence of not being tied to a computer.
The case is available in four colours: clear, blue, green and orange. Not only do the colours look great, but they also make it possible to distinguish the cases from different people. Practical! In all other cases, the circumstances are the same.

It can also be positioned neatly on a desk if a battery holder is connected to the back, and has large, easy-to-read labels for the A and B buttons. This enclosure allows full access to the BBC micro:bit pins, allowing the Breakout Board Edge Connector to be used for BBC micro:bit. The physical size of the micro:bit is one of its distinguishing qualities, and this case has been built with that in mind. It's as small as we could make it and still protect the micro:bit.
The case also includes an adhesive pad for attaching a battery holder to the back of the case, similar to the one included in our BBC micro:bit Starter Kit. When a battery holder is used, micro:bit projects can be taken anywhere. The case is still palm-sized and portable, even with a battery holder added.
