The Kitronik ZIP Tile is an 8x8 display panel for the BBC microbit. It can scroll text, display all the colours of the rainbow and more. Multiple tiles can be linked together to create even larger displays. It features 64 colour addressable LEDs arranged on an 8x8 grid, ZIP LED expansion points on the left, right and top of the board, and the ability to connect a BBC microbit with bolts and hooks.
Pins P1 and P2 also fit standard 2.54mm footprints and include the necessary supply voltage and GND pads.

The JST connector on the back of the board provides the necessary power. The board generates a regulated power supply which is fed into the 3V and GND terminals to power the connected BBC micro:bit, eliminating the need to connect it separately.
